When I was 4, my mum took me to a music academy for kids, and this was my first musical experience. From that time, my life had been full of music.My first interest in film music was when I was 10, watching Star Wars. I was so shocked by the magnificent and mysterious mood of the scores, and started having a dream to make my own musics like that.At the age of 12, I was introduced to learn Haegeum, and fascinated by the beauty and charm of Korean traditional music, Gugak, and that made me get into Gugak National Middle School.However, my desire to create had not extinguished during the instrumental performance trainings, so I eventually decided to change my career path to study film scoring.My musical life has been a complicated path. I've had various musical experiences throughout my life, and it's my goal to incorporate them into my work and share them with everyone else.
I hope to pioneer my own genre, which combines Korean traditional music with Western film music styles.
