About Me

When I was 4, my mum took me to a music academy for kids, and this was my first musical experience. From that time, my life had been full of music.My first interest in film music was when I was 10, watching Star Wars. I was so shocked by the magnificent and mysterious mood of the scores, and started having a dream to make my own musics like that.At the age of 12, I was introduced to learn Haegeum, and fascinated by the beauty and charm of Korean traditional music, Gugak, and that made me get into Gugak National Middle School.However, my desire to create had not extinguished during the instrumental performance trainings, so I eventually decided to change my career path to study film scoring.I now intend to explore various genres, such as film and game music, and forge my own new path.My musical life has been a complicated path. I've had various musical experiences throughout my life, and it's my goal to incorporate them into my work and share them with everyone else.
I hope to pioneer my own genre, which combines Korean traditional music with Western film music styles.네 살 때, 어머니께서 저를 어린이 음악 학원에 데려가셨고, 그것이 제 첫 음악 경험이었습니다. 그 순간부터 제 삶은 음악으로 가득 찼습니다.영화 음악에 처음 관심을 갖게 된 것은 열 살 때, 스타워즈를 보던 중이었습니다. 그 영화 음악이 자아내는 웅장하고 신비로운 분위기에 깊은 감명을 받아, 저도 그런 음악을 직접 만들어 보고 싶다는 꿈을 키우기 시작했습니다.12살 때 해금을 접하게 되었고, 국악의 아름다움과 매력에 푹 빠져 국악중학교에 진학하게 되었습니다.하지만 악기 연주를 배우는 동안에도 창작에 대한 열망은 식지 않았고, 결국 진로를 바꿔 영화 음악 작곡을 공부하기로 결심했습니다.이제 저는 영화 음악과 비디오 게임 음악 등 다양한 장르를 탐구하며 저만의 새로운 길을 개척하고자 합니다.제 음악 여정은 복잡했습니다. 평생 다양한 음악적 경험을 쌓아왔으며, 이를 제 작품에 녹여내어 모두와 나누는 것이 제 목표입니다.
한국 전통 음악과 서양 영화 음악 스타일을 결합한 저만의 장르를 개척해 나가고 싶습니다.
